EL brings one fast heavy tank in the 113, a lot of autoloaders, one STB-1 and the typical RU251 light tank.

NSS have 5x Object 140’s, a single Batchat and they also bring the RU251 light tank.

Both sides are stacked with medium tanks as expected for prohorovka due to it being a very open map. EL does bring the 113 but due to its speed and flexibility it moves fast enough to keep up with medium tanks.

EL gaming’s tanks are designed around burst damage compared to NSS’s single firing tanks that can keep up a consistent fire rate.

Unfortunately for EL due to NSS’s better defensive positioning they weren’t able to gain an early advantage with the burst fire of the autoloaders and once clipped they simply got picked off one by one.

El gaming decided to go with a 2nd heavy tank but still keeps the auto loading mediums for their burst damage.

NSS does a big change to their tank line-up bringing in a 113 heavy tank, some STB-1’s for their hill fighting ability and one SPG.

In this game we see the fight change to the west/cap 1 side, where EL’s Reflection in the RU251 provides great vision while keeping the NSS players spotted and survives a barrage of blind shots.

NSS decided to use their 113 to dig out the light tank but it quickly gets taken down, they decide to move in with the remaining tanks but quickly gets surrounded by EL.

A close brawl ensues but EL prevails as EL’s burst damage tank line up worked here due to being able to focus fire from multiple angles against the lower number of NSS tanks on the front lines.

EL bring 3 heavy tanks, an autoloader TD, two Batchats and a one SPG.

NSS have a much heavier line-up with 5 heavies, 1 medium and one auto loading TD.

Ghost town is a much more close quarter’s engagement map than prohorovka which is why we are seeing a more heavy line up preferred. EL uses their 113 to start the 1 cap early as bait, but unfortunately lose their southern Batchat early. This allowed NSS to rotate through the city and use their heavier line up and superior numbers in close quarters focused fights.

The lighter line-up of EL cost them dearly in the city fights with their SPG unable to do anything substantial.

EL brings a balanced force of 3 heavies and 3 auto loading mediums with a light tank.

NSS once again goes for a heavy line. This time bringing two of the deadly WT auf E100’s.

EL uses its mobility to quickly scout the south part of the map and find NSS, who is using their IS7 to bait the cap while the 215B’s setup centrally on the map.

NSS use their 215B’s to lure EL into a close engagement, where NSS’s has the better position and their WT auf E100’s are able to catch out EL’s mediums. Again EL’s tanks were just too light to brawl in the city.

EL again bring a very balanced force with 3 heavies, 3 mediums and one SPG.

NSS in return brings two heavy tanks with 4 mediums to support and one SPG

Mines can be a tricky map for tank selection as you don’t want to go to heavy but at the same time not to light. NSS’s gets an amazing start catching out EL NICE’s TVP reducing him to 101 hp, from there it goes from bad to worse with EL’s GUANREN’s Batchat getting destroyed from a penetrating shot caused by NSS Levanta’s SPG.

EL then use their remaining tanks to push the western/water side but only manage to kill NSS’s STB-1 at the cost of most of their remaining tanks hit points.  The loss of almost 4k hit points from the start put EL on the back foot for most of this game.

EL brings two 113 heavy tanks with 4 TVP auto loading mediums plus the RU251 light tank.

NSS goes a lot heavier on the attacking side with 3 113’s and a 50B heavy tank, plus 2 mediums and one spg.

EL takes a more familiar tank selection from their WGL season 1, a 6 man wolf pack. Both sides push into the centre of mines map, but NSS takes a lot more defensive positioning, expecting the aggressive EL play. EL is unable to break through NSS’s defence and takes too much damage trying to break through.

Conclusion:

EL throughout all their games played a very light tank selection mainly focusing on autoloaders to get the early HP advantage due to their burst damage, Whereas NSS played more traditional line-ups with some mix of single shot and autoloaders on most of the maps.

EL’s reliance on autoloaders throughout all of the maps certainly hurt them, going up against the more defensive NSS tactics which did not allow them to make full use of the potential burst damage of the autoloaders.

The one round EL gaming managed to win was the game 2 on Prohorovka.

This was the only time they managed to fight on their terms, they didn’t start the combat with a massive HP deficit and they were allowed to make full use of the massive burst damage that the auto loaders are capable off.

In all other games EL was denied any chance of making full use of the autoloaders they always had a HP disadvantage after the initial engagement and was forced to fight on NSS’s terms
